Gnosis is a Murfreesboro, TN based band that is redefining
the boundaries of the "rapcore" genre. With a name meaning "spirutally
inspired knowledge," this band strives to be as musically inventive as
humanly possible. Because of this, Gnosis has gained support from many
venues and music websites.
The band will be recording their e.p. in the spring of 2001. They will also be playing many shows in Tennessee, Indiana, Georgia, Ohio, and others to be announced. Gnosis is also known for their self-produced, self-promoted shows. The band has a vastly expanding fan-base. Gnosis consists of vocalist Kevin Cole, guitar player Nick Brooks, bass player Brian Romano, and drummer Kevin McHale. Their inspirations include bands such as Tool, Incubus, 311, Triple Six Mafia, and the Deftones. They were formed in the Fall of 1999. Since then, they have extended their creative horizons and have become a determind, rising group. Gnosis is supported by underground websites like MP3.com, Unsigned and Unleashed, 420bands.com, Garageband.com, and was the featured band of the month on Polluteme.com. They also placed in a local awards banquet. Their new e.p. will only be the next step in their musical career. |
