Faucetmouth began in mid 2000 as a a 5 piece hardcore band
in search for something more meaningful than projects from the past. After
major line-up changes, and the addition of the newest member Shaggy(bass),
Faucetmouth is headed in what seems to be the path they were searching
for all along. By crossing the lines of hardcore with melodic pressures,
and a revitalized look at hope, Faucetmouth brings to life the everyday
struggle for something more.
The Vocals scratch for a new intense meaning of life, and are backed
by a determination of beats and energetic\melodic tones that set a variety
of different moods such as frustration towards everyday life in such tracks
as "Taken" and "Clean Yourself"; and depression due to a loss of importance
in tracks like "8th Star" and "Euphoric".
Influenced by more than what MTV has to offer, Faucetmouth finds common
ground in this vision of self expression. Chris (guitar), Rob(vocals),
Shaggy (bass), and Bishop (drums) together offer their version of music
through unity in mind and soul, Faucetmouth is just the result.
