What began as a childhood dream has turned into a life-long pursuit of musical freedom for Peel's vocalist Digg. The twenty-seven year old life-long resident of Nashville, Tennessee lists the Indigo Girls, Tool, Tori Amos, Mike Patton, and Phil Anselmo as a few of his musical influences. His goals as a vocalist are pretty simple: "To become as good a singer as I feel I am a guitar player." Creativity, passion, acts of kindness and courage, and strong will are a few of the things that inspire him to create his music. Lyric-wise, he draws upon his own life experiences and personal thoughts of his life and others to put words into their songs to give them meaning. He prefers to sing melodic songs with good vocal lines. His family, which includes three half-brothers and one half-sister, has been supportive of his musical career from the get-go. His desire to create and perform music runs deep in his soul and he has no plans for stopping anytime soon: "It's the natural thing for me to do. I have lived for music my whole life. I can't imagine not making music." It's easy to see the passion that Digg has for music whenever he is onstage pouring out his soul for the world to see. It's that type of musical integrity that will leave its' mark on the world at large.
