LEVEN is a four-piece progressive metal band from Iowa City, Iowa. The
line-up includes Darrick Jones on lead vocals, Stuart Butler on guitar/background
vocals, Gary Speth on bass/background vocals and Mark Crawford on drums.
LEVEN has set themselves apart from other bands by their intense, passionate and
energetic live performances. Sonically they are distinguished by a versatile and
eclectic style, ranging from melodic and ethereal, to hard-core and technical.
“LEVEN is a fine-tuned, electrifying, hard-edged rock band, with an arsenal of

The music is guitar driven, reminiscent of A Perfect Circle, Deftones and System of
A Down.

Although the music is heavy, it is also melodic and diverse.
