| Charybdis (kuh-rib-dis) was formed in the summer of 1998 with a mission to expose as many people as possible to their own brand of music. Since hitting the music scene Charybdis has played in medium to large sized venues in front of numerous fans, first time listeners, and those curious to hear what all the excitement is about. Charybdis has captured the attention of local press earning themselves an interview on Rock 98 in Sacramento CA along with several newspaper articles throughout the California Central Valley describing Charybdis as a mix between Dream Theater and Pantera. Currently Charybdis is in the studio recording what will be their full length self released CD entitled Musical Architecture. At the same time Charybdis is writing new material for their next project which is a very involved, musically complex concept album. Charybdis is confident about their music and abilities and hope to bring about the change the music world is waiting for. |
