Catch's origins go back to a band that was initially formed to do covers
for weddings and parties. Following one week of rehearsals with a somewhat
overbearing and egotistical bass player, three members of the band decided they had
enough of playing "Mustang Sally thirty two and two tenths times a day." The band,
now known as Catch, quickly shifted their focus to the development of their own
material and unique sound.

Band members Blaine (bass, vocals), Joel (lead guitar, acoustic guitar,
vocals), Sarah (keyboards, violin, vocals, rythmn guitar) and Jase (drums) have
committed themselves to long nights and personal sacrifices in their quest to
form "a more perfect band." Although their mission was quite ambitious, Catch
has quickly become a tight, cohesive unit which draws upon each other's
strengths and influences for their distinctive sound.
The band's musical interests are diverse; from the jazz recordings of Tal
Farlow and Dave Brubeck, to the rock acts of Led Zeppelin and Queen, along with
the songwriting styles of Dylan and Hendrix, all have helped to develop the
soul of what has become Catch.
Catch's upcoming self titled independent release, contains music even more
diverse than their influences. From the guitar driven songs "Senorita" and "My
Michelle" to the melodic sounds of "My Fair Lady", "Today" and "Super Mighty
Mini Man", Catch's first release provides the listener with a fresh approach
to modern rock
