cab over pete, a hard rock band from nashville, is based on synchopated
riffs, low end rythms, and an emotional delivery of intense messages.
forming in may of 2000 after longstanding logistical problems of the
members, the group played diligently through the area, promoting a
progressive/aggressive sound and forward thinking ideals. after dropping
down to a three-piece, the band evolved into a raw mixture of different
talents. fusing sounds, the band is able to go between helmet inspired
off-time rythms, quicksand fueled irony, or the pure rock intensity of
clutch. but seperating them from simple dropped-d crowds is the intesity of
their performance, as it is almost a creation of raw energy, almost unseen
outside of the emo-core scene. a true, stripped down approach to hard rock.
no gimmicks. only very, very loud, with a purpose....
