BurNsiDe is a Hard Rock/Metal Band hailing from the ass end
of Ohio whose main purpose is to give your eyes and ears the Melodic Spasm
that snaps you back into Real Music. Four members build the sound of this
band skillfully. They credit Larger-than-Life musicians such as Joe Satriani,
Tool, Pantera, Incubus, and Blind Melon. BurNsiDe consists of an Unconventional
Lead Guitarist, an Eccentric Vocalist, an accomplished Drummer, and an
eradicating Bassist. They are:
Vocals ~ Eric Freauf Guitar ~ Jason Burnside Drummer ~ Bryan Whitley and Bass ~ Keith Fields BurNsiDe's Start was in May of 2000, when Jason Burnside, Sam Altman, Jeff Montavon, and Eric Freauf formed Brilliant Mistake. In September 2000, Drummer Jeff Montavon quit Brilliant Mistake due to musical differences. Fortunately, through their singer Eric Freauf, they were able to find another drummer, Bryan Whitley. Bryan quickly filled Jeff's spot and instantly became a BM Regular. In October 2000, after many hours of lost practice BM made the difficult decision of cutting long time member Sam Altman from the Line-up. Sam's focus was no longer for the best interests of BM, making it impossible for the band to go any further. Again BM was fortunate enough to keep on track because their new Drummer, Bryan, brought Keith Fields over to try their brand of music. The line-up was completed after Keith's first time out. The band was just as equally impressed with Keith as Keith was with the band. In January 2001 with an all new line up of musicians, Brilliant Mistake changed their name to BurNsiDe. With a totally different sound for their setlist of songs, they were ready to Record 'Life in a Day', thier first album. Unfortunately, when the band was ready to record at the Recording Workshop, they experienced a loss of the major kind when Bryan had to take leave from the band for an undisclosed amount of time. They are back in full force now and ready to ROCK!
