BLOOD-KLOT a heavy ass mixture of nu-metal, death metal, and hardcore. Creating a new genre of music called death core. just picture this, six feet under, dry kill logic, and earth crisis all in one but definitely original at the same time "we all got together while in Japan, me Jeremy and goose are in the navy and one day decided to try and make shit up. Instantly we clicked we made four songs in one hour that are sick as hell." Jeremy plays on a seven string Ibanez "rg" series. The same model as Dino from fear factory. He actually met Dino while in San Diego and Dino hooked him up with the custom made pickup that makes fear factory have that sound. Supposedly Dino was hitting on Jeremy’s sister. Katsuya plays on the Ibanez k5 5 string bass. Which is the signature model of Fieldy from Korn. Katsuya is Japanese so its hard to understand each other most of the time but sense he is so good on bass and he kicks ass live we had to keep him, no questions asked. Gooses real name is Jay but we call him goose cause he looks like one. He plays on a 5 piece pearl drum set with zildjian and sabian cymbals, with a pearl double bass pedal. Curt didn’t even know he had it in him. He just up the mic one day and instantly he new what do and when to do it. Our first show ever was at a little hole in the wall bar called rock city. it was insane nobody had ever heard us play before so they didn’t know what to expect. We opened up with twist by Korn and I remember looking at peoples faces and there jaws dropped, then we went into the first song we ever made as a band called fortaken. I said I wanted to see the place explode, holy shit did it ever. The mosh pit was insane and people were totally into us, but if anyone who is reading this has ever played in front of a live crowd there always is one thing that goes wrong. "in our case I blew 2 microphones and people couldn’t here me for 2 or 3 songs then i finally got one that worked and I was way to loud and got a shit load of feedback. i told the owner of the bar that ! I was gonna bash his skull if the feed back didn’t stop(sure enough it did)" then right before the next song Jeremy said he wanted to see people beat the shit out of each other. So what happened........ this kid got thrown face first into a metal pole and busted his forehead wide open. Blood went every where, that was the moment we new that people like our music, and people would come see us play again. And here is the latest- there are a bunch of posers in New Jersey that have the same name as us, but they will learn when our first album goes platinum. |
