Formed in June 1999 by Rich and Kevin while working at a Memphis Record Store. When no one was around, they would jam, on a guitar and a small amp Kevin kept at the store. Rich would play drums on the counter and various other objects and within days the song Black #2 was written. Oct 1999 they went into Sun Studios and recorded 3 tracks. Spring 2000 the search for the right musicians fell together as Tom, Josh and Daniel were brought into the Band.After a year of working on material, Bad Planet went into High Stacks Studios to record 6 tracks that would later become the CD "Last Generation" HighLights Winning The Battle of the Bands at The Hard Rock Cafe 2 weeks in a Row and advancing to the National Contest, Sponsered by Rolling Rock Beer and Virgin Records Dingo Fest IV at The Historic Daisy Theater Overton Park Shell WMFS 94.1 The Buzz Up and Coming Showcase Main St. Arts Festival Winning The Battle of the Bands at The Reedmeister Club |
