Four radically different people come together to deliver something new to music connoisseurs. Jesse’s background in many types of music, songwriting skills, and emotional self-control anchor the band and keeps order on stage. John’s love of over the top guitar riffs, undeniable stage presence, and constant party attitude is inspirational to young players. Justin’s punk sensibilities, amazing strength, and wild attitude provide an undeniable foundation for the band on and off stage. Rick’s intellect, love of booming bottom end, and spontaneity add a degree of uncertainty that nobody can prepare for. AZ-One shows have included such antics as a guitar “accidentally” getting smashed into pieces, extreme heat causing one member to play in his boxers, eyes being put out by John’s hair, faces being burnt by cigarettes, and three stooges style floor rolling. Needless to say, everyone walks away from an AZ-One show feeling like they’ve gotten more than their moneys worth. Still, there is an underlying brotherhood that takes precedence over all else. Through thick and thin in their personal and professional lives, the members of AZ-One have stuck together. The guys know that no matter what happens, they will always put the music and the fans first. In a world in which bands often spend too much time writing songs that can’t be understood, much less related to, the guys are determined to be AZ-One onstage and with the listener. |
