Reinventing the stereotype for small, quiet, suburban towns everywhere. Based out of Sutton, Massachusetts, BACKWOODS is built upon loud abrasive guitars, dominant punchy bass lines, explosive creative drums, and melodically violent vocals, simultaneously combined to create the genre. Partially regurgitated from the ashes of Explosion Hall with added heavier and more violent metal elements introduced. Many songs collided perfectly with lyrics and musical content, most of which you can hear them play live today. Now, with guitar and vocals in place, drums were added to further the musical exploration of what was soon to be BACKWOODS. Dedication overflowed from the duo. However, soon the work needed to be furthered and finalized with low frequency riffs from bass. Frustrations were drowned by commitment, and it paid off. With the first VFW show a success, and live performances maturing amazingly, BACKWOODS seems a force to be reckoned with.
